3/4 ounce rye whiskey
3/4 ounce Cognac (brandy is okay)
3/4 ounce sweet vermouth
1/2 ounce Bénédictine
1-2 dashes Aromatic Bitters
Garnish: cherry
Combine ingredients in a mixing glass filled with ice. Stir well, strain into rocks glass, add ice. Garnish with a cherry.
